PROFILE
Bali Kuna established in December 18, 2000, is a heritage society
with deep interest on Bali cultural heritage conservation. It is a
private and non profit organization, dedicated to facilitating
community. It moves to encourage people conservation awareness
through education and technology innovation within conservation
activities from, by and for the people.
Objectives : - Motivate the cultural
heritage conservation awareness among communities by facilitating
peopole through education and technology innovation. - Build
network and synergy of conservation among other institutions,
individuals and government bodies in local, national and
international level. - Encourage the conservation action
programmes as an important aspect within the physical and non
physical development

Workshop & Training on Conservation - Development of Human
Resources

Volunteers :
We joined by such a wonderful volunteers from universities,
individues and collaboration with other NGOs and related institutions.
We named them as "Friends of Bali Kuna / Sahabat Bali Kuna"
that consists of more than 100 people.
Funding and Support : We collect
funding and support from our internal fundraising and some other
sources i.e. The World Bank, The Indonesia Minister of Tourism and
Culture, The Local Government of Denpasar City, Bali Government, The
Indonesian Network for Heritage Conservation (JPPI), etc.
Library :
Bali Kuna Library open daily 10 - 12 am. We have some collections
of conservation theories, architecture, urban management, culture,
tourism, environment and series of newsletters, magazines, seminar
proceeding and others.
For those activities we joined by such a wonderful volunteers
from universities, individues and collaboration with other NGOs.
Funding and support we collect from our internal donation and
some other sources i.e. The World Bank, The Indonesia Minister
of Tourism and Culture, The Local Government of Denpasar City,
Bali Government, The Indonesian Network for Heritage Conservation,
etc.
We have listed 250“Friends of Bali Kuna” from Bali
itself and national - international people ( data updated by
18 September 2006 ).
All we have to do is work together .
